Roles and Responsibilites 

  • Build and maintain lasting relationships with clients and partners by understanding their goals
  • Establish new opportunities and understand demands within the online retail sector
  • Create a functional pipeline and sales funnel of new business
  • Manage communications between senior management and stakeholders
  • Stay current with company updates and industry trends
  • Oversee and achieve organisational goals while upholding best practices
  • Manage external agencies and other 3rd parties involved in the sales strategy
  • Solve problems for clients by understanding their expectations
  • Illustrate the value of products and services to create growth opportunities. Compile and analyse data to identify trends
  • Participate in mind mapping, office activities, staff meetings, and client meetings
  • Research and assist with program development for existing clients and new prospects
  • Will be able to network with clients and partners
  • Follow up with clients regularly to ensure needs are being met and to identify opportunities
  • Maintain a database of clients, prospects, partners, and vendors 

Experience Requirement 

  • Background in sales, business development or client success
  • Excellent data organisation and analysis skills
  • Proven ability to lead the sales process and close business deals
  • Ability to grow existing client base
  • Ability to solve problems quickly 
  • Good spoken and written communication skills
  • Strong presentation and negotiation skills
  • Confidence, tact and have a persuasive manner
  • Good ‘people skills’, for working with a range of colleagues and clients
  • A professional manner
  • Good business acumen and the ability to work to budgets and deadlines
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts while seeking new opportunities
  • Ability to understand client needs and negotiate costs and services
  • Proficiency with CRM software and an aptitude for learning new systems
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and prospects
