We are looking for a skilled Project Manager with a strong track record in an agency environment to join our experienced delivery team. In this role, you will oversee a variety of client projects, including complete website builds, new software development, website upgrades and integrations, and rebranding initiatives. 

The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of Agile methodologies, complemented by extensive experience with Waterfall approaches to ensure effective project planning, execution, and delivery. 

Roles and Responsibilities 

1. Project Management 

Lead and manage the end-to-end delivery of eCommerce projects, ensuring timelines, scope, and quality standards are met. 

Oversee multiple projects through all phases: initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure. 

Define project goals, schedules, budgets, risks, and contingency plans, ensuring alignment with client and business objectives. 

Track and report on project progress, performance, and risks, providing regular updates to stakeholders. 

2. Team and Resource Coordination 

Allocate resources effectively, balancing workloads and skill sets for optimal productivity. 

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensuring tasks are completed on schedule and to a high standard. 

Coordinate daily project activities and manage team deliverables. 

3. Client Communication 

Serve as the main point of contact for clients, managing communications, expectations, and satisfaction. 

Address changes to scope, schedules, or costs, ensuring transparency and alignment with client needs. 

4. Quality and Delivery 

Review and approve deliverables, ensuring they meet quality standards before client submission. 

Deliver milestones on time and within budget, aligning with project plans. 

5. Best Practices and Reporting 

Apply best practices and lessons learned to improve project efficiency. 

Define and track project KPIs, delivering concise reports on progress, risks, and outcomes. 

Maintain clear documentation throughout the project lifecycle. 

Key Skills

  • Industry Expertise: Strong knowledge and experience in the eCommerce or retail industry. 
  • Project Management: Extensive experience in program and project management using both Agile and Waterfall methodologies. 
  • Platform Knowledge: Familiarity with leading eCommerce platforms such as Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Shopify, and BigCommerce. 
  • Resource Planning: Skilled in resource planning within a matrix organization in the software/web development industry. 
  • Tools Expertise: Proficient in project management tools such as JIRA, Asana, and Microsoft products (Word, Excel, Visio, MS Project, PowerPoint). 
  • Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities with high attention to detail. 
  • Communication and Collaboration: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence and build cross-functional relationships at all levels. 
  • Leadership: Proven ability to lead, motivate, and resolve conflicts within teams while maintaining team morale. 
  • Flexibility and Adaptability: Comfortable adapting to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment and learning new approaches. 
  • Time Management: Highly organized with the ability to manage time and tasks effectively.

Requirements

  • Formal project management qualifications (e.g., PRINCE2, PMP). 
  • At least 2 years of experience in project management, preferably in eCommerce. 
  • Proven ability to deliver projects on time, within budget, and scope. 
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills. 
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
