Talenti, a Unilever brand, combines authentic gelato flavours and textures, sourced from the highest-quality ingredients. As a premium ice cream brand with a strong presence in grocery stores across the US, Talenti wanted to expand its online distribution to meet the growing consumer demand for online food delivery.

Brief

Talenti aimed to boost their online sales starting with their own website. Originally a non-transactional site, they decided to transform it into a fully functional e-commerce platform. By leveraging third-party services, they enabled customers to purchase and receive their favorite ice creams and sorbets at home, any time.

Challenges

  • Non-transactional legacy website: the existing site was primarily informational, lacking the capability for direct sales.
  • Absence of third-party technologies: there was a lack of tools to manage delivery services, logistics, and the customer experience.

Our Solution

Talenti decided to move to Shopify Plus, and we supported their platform upgrade and third-party integrations. As a fully flexible and customisable solution, Shopify Plus enabled a more intuitive customer journey and seamless technology integrations, including GoPuff to manage online orders, which maximised direct sales through their website.
