Vista Outdoor is the parent company of 41 renowned brands that design, manufacture and market sporting and outdoor products. They serve a broad and diverse range of consumers around the globe, including outdoor enthusiasts, golfers, cyclists, grillers, campers and athletes.
Vista’s brands are now split into two segments, Revelyst and The Kinetic Group, and The Commerce Team Global is proud to support Vista Outdoor and Revelyst to achieve their e-commerce objectives with their diverse portfolio and transition the change. The portfolio of brands we work with includes CamelBak, Giro, Bushnell, Bell Helmets, Copilot, Blackburn and Camp Chef, amongst many others.
Impact
The Commerce Team Global (TCTG) partnered with Vista to provide development and support across all brands using Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC). Initially, a small number of brands were on the Salesforce Commerce Cloud platform. Since the partnership began, The Commerce Team Global has migrated 21 brands from legacy platforms and systems to the market-leading commerce platform, Salesforce. All brands were launched on the shared Salesforce realm. Once implemented, The Commerce Team Global has been responsible for further enhancements and ongoing support.
Since 2023, TCTG has collaborated with Vista to successfully manage a seamless brand separation. During this time, we have also developed, deployed, and launched the new Revelyst website, all while continuing to offer ongoing support to Vista.
TCTG began by identifying existing pinch points and launching new sites on the Vista Master realm (21 sites in total) using Salesforce Commerce Cloud SFRA. This approach provided efficiency and made challenges more identifiable by utilising a common framework architecture and core code.
